I think I have never presented you with my favourite photographers even though they all have accounts here, on dA. Because I have a bit of time I am going to present their works a bit and what I like about them. However, I am going to resume myself to the ones from which I draw my inspiration and who's work is closest to my soul. I hope to get like them one day:
As I like to say "First there was Lesta". Lesta is the screen name of photographer Nataliya Petrova who happens to be my first "photographic love". I began following her works when her style was much darker than it is now. The exceptional models, their costumes, the way she thinks a photograph has grown to be simply outstanding. It is very true that she has put a lot of effort into it doing workshops, experimenting and when she posted something it was only her best work. Her "Dark Esthetic" gallery (

[link]). I can blab about what I think of her all day long but it is better if you took a glimpse at her woks.
Great photographer from Ukraine, Alexander Shatsky, has captured in his pictures an atmosphere that I find quite charming. It's just something about each and every work he does that makes me come back for another look. I linger on his gallery and I have the feeling every model is talking to me. It's hard to say which model or photo I like best but I surely enjoyed the session with Black Angel and Sore. (
[link] ) he hasn't given us anything new since June but I am pretty sure that when he'll post new stuff they will be as interesting as everything he has done until now. Run and see!

These two are really out standing photographers and I don't know how to divide my love between them. Why? Josefine Jönsson (=
Bloddroppe) is exceptional, dark to the point of macabre, extremely dedicated but a bit too bloody at times (Can you image that? Something being too bloody for me?). I'm not going to lie I adore her. Her "_dead or alive 04." is one of my all time favourite photos and if you'll go here
[link] you will understand why. The coldness of the colours that she sometimes uses just freeze your soul. Two words: Freaking Beautiful! But then we have Elizabeth May (=
Auriethepixie) who can joggle between the most colourful photographs to dark tones and still preserve her own outstanding style. How could you not adore her wicked and vampiric self portraits? (

Actually, I'd like your opinion on these artists... curiosity..
